Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Saturday Arts Social: Beyond the Peaks - Pakistan, Unfiltered and Unseen
Having spent five weeks exploring a country that many see it's dangerous and uncharted, the hospitality and warmth I found would change anybody's view. Pakistan is a country of many contradictions, not just photographically challenging, but photographically rewarding.
About your facilitator: When Glen first picked up a camera at the age of 15, it felt like coming home. He says, "I have always loved exploring. Photography enabled me to record, understand and appreciate how I experience the world around me like nothing else could. My passion was born.
