Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Ed Cruikshank has been creating unique objects for over thirty years. With a degree in Furniture Design, he spent ten years in London with LINLEY as Head of Design and Special Projects before moving to Queenstown in 2002.
His work has covered a diverse range of custom projects including single pieces and collections of extraordinary furniture, unique artworks and entire interior schemes mainly for private for homes and also for lodges, yachts, hotels and boardrooms in New Zealand and around the world.
He is know for embedding personalised and meaningful texts into his work driven by his ethos of creating space for conversations that matter.
