Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.

A Bachelor of Design at Massey University behind her, Lisa moved to Wānaka in 2014 and has called it home ever since. Now a full-time freelance illustrator, her work celebrates some of New Zealand's most beloved and remote places.
Lisa flawlessly captures the essence and feeling of a place through her art, evoking memory, emotion and nostalgia. Inspired by the romance and charm of vintage travel posters, Lisa brings warmth and storytelling to each piece.
Much of her inspiration comes from her own backcountry adventures - if you couldn't already tell.
