I'm Mickey Ross, a photographer based in Wānaka. Whether snapping pictures of people, places, adventures or architecture, it's my goal to create a sense of nostalgia in every photo, capturing the little details that make you take a second glance.

It all began chasing snow in the glory days, which soon gave rise to a love of documenting the people, places and moments around me. Ski racing led to the study of digital art and falling in love with the camera, which quickly became an essential on every mission to follow.

I’m in my happy place doing what I do, and for my clients, that means capturing the subtleties of each moment amongst the brilliance of our surroundings. My relaxed-but-dedicated approach seems to work - it’s crafted my trademark modern-nostalgic photography style and has seen me featured in the likes of Together Journal magazine.

I'm big on architecture and commercial photography. Wānaka is home, but I trek happily to people and places all over New Zealand and across the world.
