Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
We watch arthouse movies that you wouldn't otherwise get to see on the big screen: classic film, recent world cinema, documentaries. QFS is part of the NZ Federation of Film Societies.
Screenings in the 20-film season are for members only; we can't sell single tickets. We are currently at capacity and are unable to accept new members, but please email us to go on the waiting list for next year.
