Wānaka Arts

Wānaka Arts

Wānaka Arts is a non-profit organisation serving to promote and support our local arts and artists. We work to raise the profile of Wānaka as an arts destination and promote art within our region by providing unique opportunities to exhibit and sell local artwork.

Wānaka Arts’ focus is to educate, inspire and support the region’s diverse artistic community of photographers, sculptors, quiltmakers, ceramic and mosaic artists, jewellers, printmakers, embroiderers, woodworkers, creative fibre artists and painters.

Our annual Labour Weekend Exhibition & Sale is the cornerstone event of the year, and includes over 80 artists, guest artists, working artists, and a festive opening night to kick it all off. Our ongoing exhibit located in the Wānaka Community Hub rotates every three months, with up to 18 artists on display in each exhibition cycle.

Throughout the year we work to present artists with opportunities to exhibit, fund, promote, and sell their works throughout New Zealand, and we advocate for artists within our community.
