Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.

From the bedroom mirror to the music videos, Pop Dance is Violet Hirst's affectionate dive into the glittering world of pop's biggest icons. Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna and more all make an appearance in a show that celebrates the music, the movement and the sheer joy of committing wholeheartedly to a great pop song.
Joined by two dancers, Violet brings a playful new dimension to the Tiny Room stage. It's part concert, part dance show, part love letter to an era of unforgettable hooks and iconic choreography—and proof that dance and the pop-singers of the early 2000's will forever be entwined.
Violet is joined by Barbara Goldammer, Treetip, Leo McMenamin and Eby Sebastian.
