Outside Lines brings together six artists who step beyond their familiar practices to embrace experimentation and explore new directions in their work. In doing so, they push the boundaries of what their audiences might expect and reveal fresh approaches to material, subject, skill and meaning.

All six artists are Whakatipu locals with established practices and are well known within the local arts community. For this exhibition, each has taken the opportunity to move beyond their usual creative boundaries and work outside their lines.

The group includes painters Emma Peers and Andie King; conceptual photographic artist Susan Cleaver; contemporary basketmaker and sculptor Jasmine Clark; potter Louise Parker; and contemporary jeweller Anna Claire.
